5. TUITION AND FEES PAYMENT

 

The University provides students with a range of methods and options for paying tuition and fees.  Please contact the Student Accounting Office to learn more.

 

Payment options include the following:

 

(a)                Payment in full – If this option is used, make sure that payment is received by the payment due date published each term in the Schedule of Classes if paying in person (if paying by mail, then payment must be received two weeks before the starting of classes).  Otherwise, additional fees may be charged.

 

(b)               Monthly Installments – If this option is used, the student must enroll in the University’s Interest Free Monthly Payment Option Plan administered by Tuition Management Systems.  For further information, contact the Student Accounting Office or contact Tuition Management Systems directly at 1-800-722-4867 (Outside the US: 1-401-921-3700).  Website Address: http://www.afford.com . Tuition and fee payments can be made by mail, in person, or by phone.

5A. Indebtedness to the University of Detroit – Mercy

 

Students or former students with indebtedness to the University – including delinquent or defaulted educational loans – are not entitled to register for future semesters, obtain a transcript, or graduate until all accounts are cleared.  Students graduating or withdrawing from the University must have an exit interview to review payment procedures for educational loans.
